Sandhar Technologies Inks JV Agreement with Taiwan-based Whetron Electronics

Sandhar Technologies has signed a joint venture agreement with Taiwan-based Whetron Electronics to supply future technology products to Indian automotive OEMs. These products include rear parking assist system, auto parking, cameras, around view system, driver monitoring system, digital video recorder, blind spot detection, door open alert, lane departure alert, rear cross traffic alert, tyre pressure monitoring system and head up display.
Sandhar Technologies said that given the dynamic changes in the automotive market the focus on driver safety and convenience will augment the use of futuristic auto electronic components.
Speaking at the joint venture signing ceremony, Jayant Davar, Founder, Co-Chairman and Managing Director, Sandhar Technologies said that the company through its association with a reputed player like Whetron is confident about bringing the best technology and products for the Indian automotive industry.
Steven Chiang, President, Whetron Electronics, said the joint venture offers a huge opportunity given the increasing industry focus on safety and comfort.
