Pressure/temperature sensors installed in each tire are used to directly measure tire pressure and temperature. This information is then transmitted to the central receiver module through a wireless transmitter and displayed on monitor, the rear-view mirror or the HUD. If too high or low on tire pressure, air leakage from the tire, or too high on tire temperature, the system will alert the driver.
